Local fruitcakes gather at the shoreline of Lake Michigan (North Beach) and try to cure their "NEW-YEARS-EVE" hang-overs by jumping into the freezing lake waters. That's right, today is "YOUR DAY". It's totally different than your birthday, when everyone else buys you a present. On "YOUR DAY", you get to buy yourself a present for being such a nice person, without feeling quilty about it. Pamper yourself all day long and tell yourself how great you are. Then get dressed up and take yourself out to dinner at a really fancy place. Request a candlelit table in a dark secluded corner and order the most expensive item on the menu. Indulge in your favorite wine and whisper sweet nothings to yourself. Savor the moment.

We highly recomend that you call him, go see him, buy him a present, take him to dinner, whatever. Just don't forget him on this special day, as it could come back and bite you. Hey, why not bring him down to the "Oasis" and spend some quality time together listening to the music and soaking up the sun and suds. I'll guarantee that there will be a lot of other father's at the beach.

We encourage all our customers to go to the "Racine" parade and check out all the floats and bands. After the parade, head on down to the "OASIS" for live music all day long, right up to the fireworks, which are shot off right on the beach. This is the best place in the entire City to view the fireworks. We suggest you get here early for a good parking spot. Over 30,000 people gather at the beach for the fireworks. We'll be grilling out all day long.

Racine served it up and beat out powerhouses such as Houston, Los Angeles, and Miami. This will be the third year for this tournament in Racine, and last year was absolutly "FANTASTIC".
